Looking for something different and fun for the kids in the morning? These Maple Ham and Egg Cups are the perfect treat!

Ham and Eggs

The idea for these individualized breakfasts comes from the new Gooseberry Patch Cookbook: Everyday Simple Suppers (enter to win a copy).

Truth be told we had this as breakfast for dinner the other night… so feel free to enjoy any time of day.

Baked Ham and Eggs

Miss Add not only loved eating these, but making them was quite fun. (Notice the upper right cup in the image… no pepper, per my pepper particular princess 😉 .)

So tie an apron around your little helper and get to crackin’.

These cups couldn’t be easier.

You just spray your muffin cups (we used jumbo cups but you can use regular ones).

Place your ham down in the cup, add a drop or two of maple syrup, a dab of butter and crack and egg in each cup.

We then seasoned as desired and baked at 400 for 20 minutes.

Ham and Eggs

Serve up on toast… or even better? Serve up on toast covered in jam… Mmm!
