Oh-So-Easy Pot Roast Dinner

I just love, love, LOVE this recipe!

Grab a 2-3 lb chuck roast
Pot Roast Dinner
Cut slits in it and add 1/2 cloves of garlic in the slits

Now feel pretty fancy about it 😉

Coat with flour and brown all sides in olive or canola oil

Now place in a crock pot… EASY ALERT… so loving this!

Top with one sliced up onion
Pot Roast Dinner
Toss in some quartered red taters
Pot Roast Dinner
And toss in some sliced carrots
Pot Roast Dinner
Add salt and pepper to taste
Pot Roast Dinner
And pour on the secret ingredient

Beef Consumme
Pot Roast Dinner
Now cook on high for 6 hours

And 6 hours later you have…

One. Fantastic. Roast.

    I made this last night and it turned out great!  Best crock pot post roast recipe I’ve tried.  It’s a keeper fo sho.

    Does this work if you do it on low for 8 hours or so? I work all day so I wouldn’t be able to do 6 hours.

    I’m almost ready to serve this. The house smells amazing, and it tastes delicious! Mine only needed about 4:45 on high.

      You can always freeze leftovers or use a smaller roast and adjust your time accordingly.
