Spoons is a super simple party game that you play with a deck of cards and spoons.
And it is one of my extended family’s FAVORITE games.
Everyone plays when spoons come out.
Chaos and tons of laughter is always promised. We play it every time we are at camp.
Speaking of camp… There may have even been an almost overturned table last weekend at camp as everyone went for the last spoon.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to get as rowdy as we do… it is just that, we take spoons VERY seriously around here!

What You Need to Play Spoons
I bought this travel set but you don’t need to. You can play with any deck of cards and any spoons. You just need one less spoon than number of people playing.
We use one deck of cards for up to nine people.
If you have more than nine, I would add another deck. But be warned, use inexpensive cards. The cards take quite the beating during the game and will get bent up.
Whatever your group size, this family card game is sure to be the hit of the party!
