As you all know, I’m a new Momma. This year has been quite a ride! We are coming up on Ryder’s 1st birthday WAY too quickly! He has grown so much! It seems like just yesterday I had this little guy in my arms.

Then I blinked and this little guy was crawling all over our house!

Ryder 10 MonthsI may be biased…but that two tooth smile melts my heart every time. 🙂

I have always wanted to be a Mommy. My Momma is amazing, and I always wanted to be like her. If I can be half the Momma to Ryder that she is to me, I will be happy. She is that wonderful! So coming up on my first Mother’s Day, I am beyond happy and excited. This little boy has turned our world upside down, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙂

So with Mother’s Day this weekend, it seems fitting to look at Recipes for Mom…don’t you think? 🙂

Audra’s daughter made her these yummy Cranberry Orange Muffins at Once a Mom…Always a Cook.

Canberry Orange Muffins_thumb[1]Michael’s Mamaw James wrote out (I love handwritten things!) his Great Grandma’s Chicken and Rice recipe for me and we love it. And it just so happens to be extremely similar to Sandy’s Chicken and Rice Bake from one of my favorite Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, Summer In The Country!

IMG_3286Speaking of Summer In The Country, Ericka’s Cheese Danish is so simple and sure to please any Momma’s sweet tooth! (Not that I have a sweet tooth or anything. ;))

IMG_3290In the mood for a fruity sweet treat? Cris has you covered with these amazing Mini Pie Bites. Think heaven in a bite sized package. She brought them to Easter and we all had our favorite flavor! Perfect for all us Mommas who are outnumbered when it comes to our favorite flavors!

Mini-Pie-Bites-copyHmmm…three sweet recipes and one main dish…I think my subconscious may be telling on my sweet tooth. 😉

Link up below and tell me your favorite recipe for yourself or your Momma!

And Happy Mother’s Day to everyone from The James Family. 🙂
