Puddie’s Grilled Shrimp Rub

This past weekend we visited Memaw and Papaw at their horse camp.

Puddie agreed to make his famous Grilled Shrimp, if Papaw would make his famous Campfire Cobbler… and I stood by with my camera to capture both 😉

Today I’ll share Puddie’s shrimp secrets… tomorrow, I’ll show the cobbler magic 🙂

Puddie took 1 bag of jumbo shrimp deveined with the shell on and thawed them in a water bath. He then added 1T each: Chili Powder, Old Bay and Lawry’s Seasoned Salt along with a teaspoon of Canola Oil. Let it sit while you heat up your grill.

When your grill is nice and hot, pop your shrimpees on the barbie 😉
Now Puddie didn’t let me in on this particular step…
But it kind of looks important… Just Sayin’
Cook it up until they turn nice and pink 😉
Then eat up! Yum!
