FREEZE-O-RAMA makes for one tired mama!

Well I am elbow deep into FREEZE-O-RAMA or freezing a month’s + worth of meals and I am soooo glad I decided to do this! I LOVE it.
Don’t get me wrong I am pooped and I gots lots of cooking still to do tonight AFTER the monkey is fast asleep.

SIDE NOTE: Cooking all day with a 2 year old can be fun, challenging and take a great deal of concentration… Because at least once every 10 minutes for 6 hours straight you have the following conversation–over and over and over again.

“Mommy! MOOOOMMMYYYY! What are YOU doooooing?

“I’m cooking”

“What are you cooking mommy?”

“FREEZE-O-RAMA”

“freeze-o-rama?”

“Yep. FREEZE-O-RAMA”

“I LOVE freeze-o-rama!… Mommy…”

I prefer to look at it as a lesson in patience 😉 Thank heavens Daddy gave me a little break by taking our little slugger out to play a little ball 🙂
She was SOOO excited!
But not nearly as excited as Mommy was while cutting up 6 lbs of chicken breasts 😉 Just sayin’
Anyhow, back to why I am so glad I embarked on FREEZE-O-RAMA.
Truth be told it was fun!
It just so happens to take a little creativity to cook up 8 lbs of seasoned ground beef all at the same time!
I just kept thinking about how awesome it was going to be coming home from work to all this yummy food without all of the work .
All in all it was a Goode time.
More to come on individual recipes and other FREEZE-O-RAMA adventures.
