Fruit Salad

Dear Reader-

The first song Puddie ever wrote me was entitled “Fruit Salad”… yep, it was a touching ode to how when we first met we connected over foods that we grew up loving and how the right “ingredients” made for a perfect dish… much like our budding relationship… 😉 I promise it is as cheesy as you think it might be 😉

Anyhoo… needless to say, when we have fruit salad these days, I am reminded of those two crazy kids and the life they could have never dreamed up all those years ago…

So, I thought I’d share the fruit salad we are loving lately.

Start with 1 1/2 pints of strawberries- sliced

1/2 pint blueberries

1/2 pint raspberries

2 kiwis- peeled and chopped

1lb fresh pineapple sliced into chunks

3 bananas sliced

The juice from one large lemon

1/2 cup of sugar

Stir it up and serve it up!
