Do you love the chewy corner pieces of the brownies in the brownie pan? Then you will love this Turtle Brownie Waffle.

Turtle Brownie Waffle

I whipped up a batch of these for my New Year’s Eve guests when I made some of those yummy Strawberry Waffle Cakes that everyone loved… I mean the waffle iron was hot, so why not, right? We also whipped up some pretty killer Cinnamon Roll Waffles, but that is another post for another day ;).

Truth be told, of all of the wonderful things we made, these Turtle Brownie Waffles were my absolute favorite. Chewy edges with every bite and little wells for that yummy caramel sauce to tuck away into made them just perfect!

And the secret?

I just used a brownie mix from a box! Although my guests couldn’t believe it.

Now since then I have tried a few other boxed mixes (don’t judge… it was all research for you, I swear!) but none have measured up to Betty Crocker’s Supreme Turtle Brownie Mix.

It had everything I needed… including that yummy caramel! (Psst… if you are using a regular brownie mix you could always add a handful of chopped nuts in the batter and drizzle with caramel ice cream topping.)

All you do is mix up your batter, cook in batches on a medium-hot, well greased griddle. Then drizzle your brownie waffles with the caramel sauce.

These are great for a party and best served warm.
