The Family Card Game That Took Us 60 Seconds to Learn and We Played ALL NIGHT! via @crisgoode

Are you looking for a fun card game to add to your Family Game Nights? I can not wait to tell you about the family card game that took us 60 seconds to learn and we played it all night long!

Mantis Card Game

The other day we were in our local game store and my family was HOVERING around the display by the makers of Exploding Kittens.

While we haven’t played Exploding Kittens in YEARS, they have made many of our long time favorite silly games like Poetry for Neanderthals.

Mantis Card Game

I had heard about Mantis for a while from other board game enthusiasts.

I had heard it was a “different” card game with a lot of replay-ability and great artwork.

So I picked up a copy and watched the video below to very quickly learn how to play.

When I brought the game to Family Game Night, I was expecting it to probably be a quick learn and a fun little card game. (Two of my favorite things to make Family Game Night’s fun.)

What I was NOT expecting was how much everyone absolutely LOVED this game.

It has already been countless times.

It is a quick play and everyone wants to replay it immediately after every round.

Truth be told, last game night we played an extra TWO HOURS because we were having so much fun!
