A bloggy (and real life) pal of mine– Big D over at Who is the Grown Up— recently told me about a Super Mommy Secret to making those super yummy slushies you get at the apple orchard… ya know as a reward for all that apple pickin’… and it totally made my day!

Apple Orchard Cider SlushiesSince we haven’t gotten out to our usual fall activities this year, this was the perfect fall pick me up… right in my kitchen!

Apple Orchard Cider SlushiesAll you need is some Apple Cider… mine is from Aldis since the grocery store is the closest I have been to the apple orchard all month!

Apple Orchard Cider SlushiesJust pour some into your ice cream maker and churn…

This definitely falls under the category of “Why didn’t I think of that?”

Truth be told, I might just try it with this yummy Sycamore Farm Christmas Drink and slush it up a bit 😉

Enjoy!

Oh HELLO! That looks mighty tasty. And, it just so happens that I have both some apple cider and an ice cream maker. Looks just about as good as ‘frozen Coke.’ Gotta love those ice cream makers 🙂
