Do you love Euchre but only have two players? Try this trick taking card game that feels very similar.

Mikey and I LOVE Euchre.

But as a 3 person family we rarely get to play it on the regular.

So we were thrilled when we learned to play Fox in the Forest the other day and it reminded us a lot of Euchre!

This fun trick-taking game feels very similar in that it has suits you must follow and there is a “trump” suit as well.

There are a few fun twists to the game. Some of the cards have special actions (like switching a card out of your hand or changing the “trump” suit) and the points are awarded in a unique way that really impacts your strategy.

Here is a video about how to play Fox in the Forest that should explain it a little more:

If you love trick taking games like Euchre, I highly recommend adding this fun little two person game to your shelf.

It’s a GOODe one 😉
