I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this Goode & Gooseberry Patch Project Recipe, but I REALLY liked this Pecan-Wrapped Blue Cheese Ball.
I whipped up a couple of these (one with blue cheese and one without) for my big bloggy FREEZE-O-RAMA day. (Psst… the Pampered Chef giveaway is ending soon…)
Start with 2 blocks cream cheese- softened…
With 2 cups shredded cheddar and 1 stick of butter-softened
Throw in 1 1/2 t garlic powder
2 T “shire” sauce-blurry
2 T dry minced onion
Now toss in the blue cheese or do what I did and split in half and only add the blue cheese to half.
Now take out your frustrations on a small bag of pecans…
A-YAH!
Pulverized perfection 😉
And roll…
Now mark the blue cheese one with a pecan.
A great way to offer up a cheese ball two ways– to accommodate any picky eaters in holiday crowds.
Enjoy!
