Dude… my gal pal Leah over at Beyer Beware shared something heavenly the other day that I just HAD to try… Fruity Pebbles treats…

You start with 1/2 stick of butter

And melt it in the microwave.

Then you take a bag of mini marshmallows

Coat them with the butter.

Microwave 45 seconds… stir and repeat.

I cannot believe I have:

1. Never used the microwave for marshmallow treats… hello… where have I been?!?
2. Never made fruity pebbles treats… dude- I heart me some Fruity Pebbles.

Anyhoo… back to the treats…

Add a box of fruity deliciousness… and stir. Then put in a 9 x13 pan….

And *try* to wait for them to cool…

Yum!
Psst… The recipe is on the box 🙂
Two things about the box though:
1. Mine don’t look like that picture…lol
2. That serving size is ridiculous… just sayin’
The treats are still amazingly GOODe though 😉

I've never done the marshmallow thing in the micro either! The girls and I are making cocoa Rice Crispy Treats with peanut butter as soon as they get home. They like to take turns stirring the marshmallows as they melt into the butter!

Hey, I never did hear what part of the pig helps in the creation of marshmallows!?!?! Anyone have answer?
