Are you looking for an easy way to immediately cut cost at the grocery store? Today I am sharing one simple change I have that saves me $15 to $17 dollars at the grocery store instantly.

With the price of literally EVERYTHING skyrocketing, I have been looking for ways to trim our budget where we can.
I literally have doubled our garden this year to help us offset some of these costs, but with those harvests months away, I have been looking for simple ways to cut costs and I came across something the other day that was quite surprising…

After seeing the sticker shock of the increase in the price per pound of ground beef, I noticed that the 10 lb rolls of ground beef were $17 dollars CHEAPER than buying 10 lbs in individual rolls.
While buying in bulk sometimes leads to savings, I was shocked at how much of a difference there was for something we regularly buy, so I thought I would pass along the tip.
So, I purchased a 10lb roll and divided my roll into individual freezer bags. I used my vacuum sealer, but you could also use regular freezer bags.
I like to flatten mine out evenly with a rolling pin for storage and also for easy thawing.

I also might buy some and make up a couple batches of my make ahead ground beef to make my life easier.
How about you?
Have you noticed a drastic difference in bulk ground beef prices in your area?
