Bee Blog: The Inside Buzz

We have officially had the ladies for a week and a half.

And they have been BUSY!

Our hive box has 10 frames in it.

In Bee School we were taught when the bees were working on 7 frames, to add another box.

We were told this would likely take 30 days.

But our girls must be working overtime because they have already started working on 7 frames!

So we added another box of frames and they are already busy on their new floor of their Bee Mansion.

And preliminary checks have shown they are moving right in!

This whole beekeepin’ thing is next-level adventure, y’all! We moved our bees in last weekend and they’ve already gone through over a gallon of their bee food to support the nuke. I opened the hive to see how much work they’ve put in. They’ll have 7 frames filled by tomorrow! Time for the new floor to bee installed tomorrow!
