Beekeeper’s Blog: 14 days Before the Bees Come Home.
Today was our 3rd class on caring for bees, and it was a 1st CLASS class!
Standing in a cloud of them while they let us peak into their little lives from beeginning to end is fascinating to me.
What used to bee so scary as a kid is now intriguing.
They don’t mind how you live if you do the same.
You might run into a few along the way that want to get to know you as well, kinda like this little gal, her name’s Abbee.
She landed on my nose and started to drift under my hat, so we went topless for a bit.
She stayed there for every bit of five minutes. She did crawl around on my eye for a while, which may have given me the puckers, but she went back to my giant forehead beefore she said her goodbyes.
We pick up her momma in a couple weeks. Her name’s Beeyoncé…because she’s a queen.
As for the shirt, it’s beecause I was at an apiary, duh!
Stay tuned…
