We recently lost our sweet little yorkie Octavius.

He was my constant companion and always greeted me with such excitement.

He sat at my feet every single day, content to just be present with me, even on days I was too busy to pay much attention.

When I was in the room, he wanted me to know he was there for support.

He never once turned down an offer to “GO” somewhere together.

Never for a second did he ever let me doubt just how much I meant to him.

If only we humans could be as good to each other as our dogs are to us.

I hope I can live up to the person he thought I was.

He meant the world to me and I will miss him very much.

Cris, I think you are absolutely the person Ockie thought you to be! A wonderful woman he knew he could trust to love him, take care of him and show him just how GOODe life could be! You’re right about us humans, if only we could be as good to each other as our dogs are to us. I’ve never been a mom except to fur babies and I know the terrible hurt of losing them. I’m so sorry, my heart breaks for all of you. I’ll miss that sweet little fella…he stole my heart along the way. God bless y’all! I love you!😪🙏❤

SO SO SORRY to hear about Octavius. We had to put down our first Yorkie, whom we were fortunate to love for ten years, due to bladder cancer. We were devastated and it was many years before we were able to get our second Yorkie but she brought us great joy too. My deepest sympathy for your loss. The video tribute was beautiful.

So sorry for the loss of your sweet little dog. I am 73 so I have had to part with many animals along the way. It is always so hard Hopefully you will find a place someday for another one. Bet the other little dog will miss him. I am now down to my last pet, an about 15 year old cat I got from the pound years ago, under a year old with a litter of kittens already. I had her fixed and she has only know inside since I have had her. I know I will sure miss her if I outlast her. She will probably be around longer than me as I am not well. I worry about that. No need to answer. Just wanted to let you all know I am thinking of you and feel your pain. Cyber hugs ta all.
