4 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

Dear Reader-

Ya know how things just fall together from time to time?

Well, yesterday morning I called my mom determined to find her old Peanut Butter Fudge recipe that I remember drooling over as a child… She searched and searched and couldn’t find it 🙁

Totally bummed, I decided I would google a recipe… but then I got distracted doing a billion and one things…

Anyhoo, then I saw on Pinterest that one of my favorite foodies  just posted a peanut butter fudge recipe and it looked uber simple and uber quick.

The recipe touted 4 ingredients (all in my pantry) and just 4 minutes.

How awesomely dangerous!

So without further ado, Annie’s Eats Peanut Butter Fudge:

4 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

4 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

Place two sticks of butter and 1 Cup of Peanut Butter in a microwaveable bowl.

Cover with plastic wrap and cook on high for 2 minutes.

Stir.

Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.

Stir again and it should look something like this…

Now add 2 Cups Powdered Sugar

4 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

and 1 t Vanilla…

Special thanks to Dave’s Dirty Vanilla for this fabulous sample… it smells and tastes divine.

4 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

Stir, baby, stir….

Combine the ingredients well.

Now take an 8 x 8 pan and line it with wax paper and run some softened butter over it.

Now spread your peanut butter mixture evenly in the pan.

Top with another piece of wax paper and pop it in the fridge for 2 hours.

Then pop it out of the pan and cut into 64 one-inch pieces.

Store at room temperature in a sealed container…. far, far away from you… or you will eat the whole thing.

You have been warned.

4 Minute Peanut Butter Fudge

So quick.

So fabulous…

So half-gone already in this house…

I WILL make this for our Christmas gathering.  I rarely make deserts although I love to cook.  Baking cakes, cookies and such just hasn’t my thing, now that i’m approaching age 55 and have a little darling grandchild I might start baking more goodies now.  Never too old to start new tricks…  right?  😉

Oh you will just love it! And, I agree… never too late… especially when a grandchild is involved!

I made this last night exactly as you said above and it tastes great BUT it is not solidifying very well, I can’t cut it into bars because it is gooey, any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Did you use real butter (not light butter or margarine). I know light butter does not work. Also– make sure to put in the fridge. Here is the original recipe if that helps: http://annies-eats.com/2011/12/16/peanut-butter-fudge/

I did use real butter, at least I think I did I used blue bonnet sticks, is that correct? Thanks for your help!

Nope 🙁 … I think Blue Bonnet is Margarine. Next time try Land O Lakes or the generic that is labeled Butter.
