Rush Hour RecipesDear Reader-

Rush-Hour Recipes is a cookbook chock-full of recipes for the busy life.

Quick and easy meals prepared in minutes.

The chapters range from 5 Ingredient Favorites to One-Dish Dinners to Slow Cookers to the Rescue to Soup’s On! to Make-A-Meal Sides and even includes a chapter on Speedy Potluck and Party Foods.

We even have a recipe in the pages of this fast and friendly cookbook– Mama’s Quick Meatball Subs an adaptation of my Busy Mom’s Meatball Subs from years ago.

That is why I am thrilled to add Rush Hour Recipes to the list of Gooseberry Patch Cookbooks in my On the Lighter Side Series.

Gooseberry Patch

In fact, we are adding several cookbooks to the series over the next few months thanks to Gooseberry Patch…

Upcoming Books

And with every book featured, we will be giving away a copy to one lucky reader!

Now, back to Rush Hour Recipes…

This week I will be sharing the following recipes…

8 Can Soup

This quick and easy 8 Can Soup will be on my list for a super fast dinner from pantry staples.

Easy Creamy Italian Chicken

And we found the book’s Easy Garlic Chicken to be very versatile… we whipped up this yummy Easy Creamy Italian Chicken in a flash.

Hawaiian Honey Pork Roast

Oh my stars, you will never believe this Hawaiian Honey Pork Roast came from the crock pot.

Parmesan Supper Biscuits

And these Parmesan Supper Biscuits are a nice savory bread to pair with your favorite soup.

RedWhiteandGreen

This Red, White & Green Chili adds a bit of Mexican flavor to the traditional warm up favorite.

Tomato and Chicken Penne

And last, but not least we will be sharing a lovely Tomato & Chicken Penne that is absolutely delicious!

All this yumminess, whipped up in a way that fits our Year 2 Change goals.

Oh and about that Cookbook Giveaway 😉 See the widget below (email subscribers will need to click thru)

My favorite quick and easy recipe is actually my crockpot shredded chicken. Granted it takes a few hours to actually make it, but once it’s made, it makes a huge batch and is versatile enough that I can heat it up to be used for a variety of different dishes. =)

We use our crockpot for making soup during this chilly winter. However we love to make our beef roasts in it the most. I love Gooseberry Cookbooks and always find many new recipes to try in them.
