Crispy Corn Flake Chicken

Ingredients

chicken drumsticks and/or thighs

egg
beaten

corn flakes cereal
crushed

olive oil

crushed red pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Remove the skin from chicken and throw it away
Whisk egg together with the water in a small bowl
Crush up cereal in blender
In a second bowl, mix together the finely crushed cereal, oil, salt and crushed red pepper
Coat chicken in the egg mixture
Put chicken in cereal mixture and press breading firmly onto chicken
Place the chicken on a greased baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes
Make sure that the juices run clear and to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer
