Creamed cod. We would have it on Fridays especially during Lent. My mother would make it and boiled potatoes which I would mash, top it with butter and then cover it with lots of creamed cod.

I can’t really remember a favorite meal as a child but I can remember the rhubarb pie that my grandmother used to make. I remember it was absolutely delicious! Have not eaten it since the last time my grandmother cooked it for me. My grandmother passed away in 1975 and I still miss my grandmother so much! I remember having so much fun baking with her!

my favorite meal as a kid was my mom’s sour cream noodle bake… I would ask for this to be my birthday meal even when I grew up. Now my mom is gone and I still make it but, it never taste the same as when I was a kid.

My favorite meal was each Sunday we would go to my Grandma’s and she would always make fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy.

My Mom would make many meals that I would consider a favorite, Mole with Chicken, Quisado, Lengua, but I can surely remember the one dish I truly disliked as a child….Liver and onions! Yuck!! 🙂

Pizza loaf! I was always excited when Mom was making pizza loaf! Strangely enough, though, I don’t know that I’ve ever made it myself … Hmmm …
