I too mad!

So today Miss Add was getting into stuff left and right. Each time I would tell her no and suggest something for her to do instead. Her reply???
“Add get out of the cabinets. Why don’t you go play with your playdoh?”
“I too mad!” — as she plops on the floor.
“Addelynn Grace get off of those stairs. Why don’t you go play with your Super Why?”
“I too mad!” –as she plops on the bottom step.
“Addie get out of those cabinets. Why don’t you get your storybook?”
“I too mad! I too mad. I toooooo mmmmmaaaadddd.” Plopping down once again staging her very own protest– a toddler “sit-in” if you will.
Now she would not say it disrespectfully– but rather in a matter of fact manner. And, the “sit-ins” quickly went away once she realized that they did her no good.
But it got me thinking how nice it would be to just plop on the floor and exclaim “I too mad!”  in the middle of a meeting or in the mound of laundry in my laundry room. Wouldn’t that be a nice solution?
That or I could just start talking Pingu out of no where…
Wonder what my co-workers would do??? I am sure they would begin thinking that Cris has finally flipped her lid.
Maybe I have had a little too much fun on my little vacay–eh?
I have had a lot of fun. I mean what isn’t fun about days full of playdoh and crayons?
*sniff* I am gonna miss the smell of Crayola at 2pm in the afternoon. Might just have to sneak a pack into my purse.
That and nap time… any chance nap time can fit in my bag?
Oh and story time… I have been lucky enough to learn about what happens when you give a cat a cupcake…
That Elmo is happy and he knows it
That Won’t Pig is pretty naughty
That there is a giving tree and a tree farmer that cares for trees.
Oh and that this little dude is pretty mad…
Hmmmm….
Wonder if a certain 2 year old has picked up on something???
