Well, today is the day.
Today I start the challenge to read the entire bible in 90 days over at https://www.momstoolbox.com
Truth be told, I signed up to get myself back to reading the bible regularly…
I used to be a pro at it… but now… um…not so much– or let’s face it, at all.
I am looking forward to it, but a little scared. Today’s task alone seems daunting…
Genesis 1:1
through Genesis 16:16
Clearly this will be a challenge with an active 3 year old, but I have a hunch it will be totally worth it.
Besides, Daddy always said “if it was easy, anyone could do it!” (Which was his way of saying that you can do it, if you put your mind to it.)
So, here I am… with my trusty side-kick. Ready. Set. Go.
Amy at Mom’s Toolbox asked us to introduce ourselves for the other participants… so here goes:
- My name is Cris. I am married to my college sweetheart, Mike, and we have a little girl, Miss Add, who is almost 3.
- I am a freelance communicator/writer, graphic designer, trainer and facilitator. I work from home and love it.
- I love photography, graphic design and blogging.
- My twitter handle is @crisgoode
- My facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/Goodenessgracious
- I joined this challenge for the accountability and the impact that I know it will have on my life.
- I am excited to meet all the other challenge participants.
Wish me luck!
About Cris
I am the mama behind GOODEness Gracious and the owner of Cris Goode Solutions.
Here at GOODEness Gracious, we like to keep it light and fun as we cook up family meals, share our super mommy secrets and chat it up about the GOODe life:)
So come on in and sit a spell.

When you posted something about this a few days ago, I went and printed a schedule out. I know someone with the 90 day bible, but he can't find it. So, I have my schedule and plan on giving it a go. (of course, I also planned to start July 1 and I'm already behind.) I'll start today.

Shannon you crack me up! haha I'm proud of both of you….I don't know that I have the discipline to do it. Although, maybe…just maybe when you two succeed, I'll be inspired to give it a go! Good luck! ๐

Good luck. This would probably something good for me, as I'm having some issues with religion lately (who am I kidding…I've always had issues with religion) but my heart just isn't in it, and I don't feel like it would truly get me closer to God…probably just make me more of a skeptic with the attitude I have lately.
Yeah, I don't usually share that in the blogosphere, as so many bloggers are seriously religious women. I guess that means we're really friends, now. ๐

Good luck! I am excited to be reading with you!

Good luck, Cris! I will cheering you on. I think this sounds like a great idea, but as sad as it sounds I know I can wholeheartedly commit right now as the next 90 days are not so fun for me (I know this is when I need it the most) so I will have to wait for a little while and hope that your journey will motivate me.

Let's learn more about the lover of our souls!
