Easter Dress Tradition

Dear Reader,

When Hershey’s asked me to share with you about an Easter tradition in my family for their “Bunny Trail”, I immediately thought of  THE dress…

The tradition started when I was a little girl.

My Grandma and Aunt would always make me an Easter Dress every year.

So, now that I have a daughter of my own…

We make sure to dress things up right every Easter.

There are times we even do two dresses…

One for church and the other for play…

Especially with our unpredictable Indiana weather…

So how about you, do you have a special tradition around Easter?

And… by the way… did anyone see where my baby went? I am looking everywhere and can’t find that gummy smile…

Ahhh…I love that child. Just seeing all those pictures gives me an overwhelming urge to drive up just to give her a hug, kiss and Ninganing.

This tradition came to mind when we were in the store the other day and I saw all the pretty dresses…boys get jipped! I might need some help shopping for Nugget’s first Easter outfit next year 🙂

So cute. When my kids were little I would dress them all up.  Now they are big, and they dress up but they choose ; P.  When I was little it was always a new Easter dress, hat and gloves!

All QUITE adorable!!!  I just remember that when I was a little girl I had a new dress every Easter and had to wear a miserable hat with an elastic string that went under my chin to keep the hat on. It was horrible – although my ‘happy as a lark’ dress is still a fond memory.  Little Miss ADD is precious…and no longer a baby, huh!
