Dear Reader-

I am sitting here feeling really guilty…

I have an uber dirty little secret that I am keeping from little ears…

She has NO idea what is in order for this afternoon…

And man, I am so not looking forward to the moment when she realizes it…

Today is the dreaded “shots” day…

And while I am sure there are gonna be tears, I am just not sure who is going to cry more today…

My 4 year old or her mama… sniff

Shots for Kindergarten?  Either way, no fun.  Mattison got her  1 yr. shots on Tues. and she screamed bloody murder for the first one, so I don’t even think she realized they gave her 2 more!

So remember those days!  You are doing the right thing.  Promise a treat afterwards and gitter dun.  Funny story.  Hannah had to get her shots last year before going into first grade…or was it two years ago for kindergarten….anywho….Kendal was going with and kind of giving her a hard time until the nurse checked and found out SHE was missing one of the shots she needed for school.  Then the wailing began in earnest.  Hannah didn’t hardly shed a tear.  Take Gilbert along for the ride!  May the Force be with you!

We did okay… Many tears were shed, but she was a trooper.

It gets harder the older they get!  I took the girls for the flu mist last winter only to find out they were out and they would have to get the shot.  B was pretty upset because she thought I lied to her.  Good luck!

Thanks. We survived… but I really don’t want to do that again.

No point in ruining the entire day, is there. I hope all went well and that she didn’t have to have too many of them at once. It’s a lot for a little body to deal with. Hope she got a nice treat afterwards. 🙂

She did… and it went okay. I think the nurse had just about as awful of a time as we did.
