grilling pork shoulder steaks

Updated now with a video from our Camper Kitchen:

Dear Reader-

I remember when my mom and dad got our first gas grill. My favorite thing Mom would make on our new grill was always Pork Steaks.

It occurred to me the other day that while we definitely eat our fair share of pork around here, I hadn’t made pork steaks in ages!

So I went to the grocery store and found a package of “Pork Shoulder Steaks” and brought them home.

After paying for them of course 😉

All mom would do to those steaks is sprinkle them with a little meat tenderizer.

That is it.

The flavor and all the yumminess is already right there, ready to come out once grilled.

So I popped them on my grill and cooked them up to an internal temperature of 145 degrees and dinner was ready!

Yum!
