This weekend Memaw Benefiel took my Rhode Island Peach Slump recipe and adapted it to their campfire ways 😉
She cooked up her peaches
Poured it into her dutch oven
Then she skipped the biscuits and went straight for some cinnamon rolls.
She unrolled them to make one gigantic cinnamon roll.
And put a lid on it…
Then grab some coals… with a shovel
Put the oven on it…
Then we put some coals on top…
20 minutes later…
All done.
Love it when you can get creative with a recipe.
I have a feeling Peach Slump will be seen ’round these parts quite a bit in the future… just sayin’
