Cris here. When Folgers reached out to me about their new Perfect Measures product and I decided to partner with them to bring you this post, I knew I had to make a coffee cake to share with you! I have always LOVED coffee cake. And, with the holidays coming up, I had this idea in mind for how to make a coffee cake super simple to throw in the oven for those busy holiday mornings.
Easy Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake
The secret to this super easy recipe is to use cinnamon rolls as your base! I just took a big pack of cinnamon rolls and rolled them around each other to make my cake. Then all you gotta do is just top with favorite crisp or crumble topping. I just used a box mix for an 8×8 crisp. (If you can’t find a pre-made mix, you can always use the topping from this recipe. It seemed like a lot of topping at first, but when the cinnamon roll base baked up it was all perfect. Now, while that bakes up… let’s pour us a nice big cup of coffee and talk a little about Folgers Perfect Measures.
Now, I have to share that growing up my dad drank folgers my entire childhood. So, just the smell of Folgers brings back so many memories for me.
Folgers Perfect Measures
So what is Folgers Perfect Measures? It is simply Folgers coffee in pre-measured portions that can be easily added to an automatic drip coffee maker for a consistent taste every time. As someone who always worries if I am making the coffee the way my guests like it, I really love this concept. It makes it so everyone can just tell me their personalized number! This product totally makes coffee making super simple, less messy, QUICK and convenient.
Now don’t worry, Folgers Perfect Measures is still absolutely 100% pure coffee and the same Folgers taste and smell we all love. It comes in five Folgers flavors- 100% Columbian, Breakfast Blend, Classic Roast, Classic Decaf and Black Silk. Please note: This product is currently available in limited markets – St. Louis(Schnucks), Kansas City, KS ( CVS) and Indianapolis ( Kroger and Marsh).
Now that we have our coffee brewing, how about we go see about that cake we left in the oven, shall we?
Once hot out of the oven, I topped with the cinnamon roll icing that came with my cinnamon rolls and served it up piping hot with a nice cup of coffee.
This recipe is best served warm fresh out of the oven. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
