About a year ago, I wrote a post called 26 Things You Can Do With a Crock Pot that many folks in the internets seemed to like… and still do today. In fact, more people visit that post every single day than any other post I have written in the past 3 years!
So I thought I’d follow it up this year with a new post in the same vein…
But, I shall try 😉
Now I am a huge slow cooker fan. I probably have no less that 5 different crock pots that I use on a regular basis.
My favorite is my 3 in 1 Slow Cooker that lets me switch the crock based on what I am cooking up– so I make sure to use the right size for the job. I also love my Smart Pot. And, like most folks, I own a couple regular ole Crock Pots that get the job done.
Regardless of which one I am using, I love to use these one size fits all liners to keep clean up easy peasy!
Take Your Lunch
How about this uber cool Lunch Crock Pot?!?
You leave your base at the office and have your soup warming while you work!
One of my favorite things to pop in the slow cooker is pork.

DIY: Strip Paint
If you have an old crock pot that you are willing to take out of food service, you might find it useful for your DIY projects… Did you know you can STRIP PAINT off of hardware using a slow cooker?
Freezer Cooking Before and After
Miss Liz shares 3 Freezer Meals for the Crock Pot that you freeze up before the crock (here are 5 more) and Miss Leah rocked my world when she used her crock to whip up her freezer ground beef to throw in the ice box for quick meals on busy days.
Breakfast Biscuits and More
Meat… not tobacco 😉 Don’t have a smoker, but crave that infused flavor? No problem! Check out how to make your crock pot a smoker!
Or Amish Friendship Bread rather… my mom recently introduced me to the practice of friendship bread. And while it makes super yummy bread, it isn’t for me… I told mom that the babysitting, burping, feeding and patting was like taking on another kid, and Miss Add pipes up and says “You don’t have to burp me Mommy!” Point made 😉
Clear the Air
Soothe Your Sweet Tooth
Making your own Chicken Stock is easy peasy with a slow cooker.
Whew! Now that will keep me crockin’ for another year, how about you?
